Raxianese is the language spoken by the Raxians of Raxus. It originated in western Raxus and quickly spread to the east around 200 according to scholars. It is a tricky to learn this tongue as most words are similar and most words start with the vowels A, O, U, though plenty differ. There is no 'I' or 'Y' sound in the alphabet.

Sentence Structure

Here are some useful facts about the sentence structure of Raxianese.

  • Sentences are composed starting with a tense, either Adardor, Adardo, Adard or Adar.
  • The tense is followed by a verb/question, then an object, animal, person, etc.
  • This is followed by Time and Place in that order, but they are optional.
  • There is no Raxianese word for "is" or any variation of it, but "is the" is "Urka".
  • The vowel A must be put at the start of the latter word if two constants are next to each other between words. This is always including a prefix. This does not apply between sentences.

Examples

  • Adardo araaka Ugla ur aKrea. (Raxians will slaughter the Elves.)
  • Adardo omat O krarco urk aKrea! (I will kill all of the Elves!)
  • Adard agrar ux! Grac O [NAME]. (Hello there! I am [NAME])
